What is BlendPad
BlendPad lets anyone bundle Stock Tokens and onchain assets on Robinhood Chain into a single tradable index token, called a Blend.
The core mechanic
- You deposit
USDGinto a Blend. - The protocol buys each underlying asset in the Blend at live prices, in the proportions defined by the Blend's weights.
- A single Blend token is minted to your wallet representing your share of that basket.
- Redeeming burns your Blend token, unwinds the underlying positions, and returns
USDG.
The problem it solves
Building a diversified onchain position manually means researching each asset, executing a separate swap for every one, paying fees on each, and then repeating the whole process whenever you want to exit. Weights drift, dust accumulates, and tracking cost basis across a dozen positions is tedious.
A Blend collapses that into one transaction and one token. Exposure to the whole basket is bought, held, and sold as a unit.
How it differs from holding assets individually
- One position, not many. Your portfolio shows a single token instead of ten line items.
- Automatic weight maintenance. A constant-weighted pool plus arbitrage keeps the basket near its target weights without you rebalancing.
- Transferable as a unit. A Blend token can be sent, traded, or used elsewhere as one asset.
- Shared, not custodial. Anyone can deposit into the same Blend; the creator does not hold or manage your funds.
BlendPad is a testnet preview. Deposits, launches and redemptions shown in the app are simulated. Component asset prices and logos are live market data.
