Creating a Blend
The create flow has four steps: Basics, Assets, Review and Live. Nothing is committed until you confirm on Review.
Step 1 — Basics
- Name — the human-readable title shown on Explore. Make it describe the thesis, not the hype.
- Ticker — a short uppercase symbol for the Blend token. Keep it distinct; a symbol that impersonates an existing asset will cost you credibility.
- Description — what the Blend tracks and why those assets. This is the main thing depositors read.
Step 2 — Assets
- Search the asset picker and add components. Each shows its live price and whether it is oracle-priced.
- Set a weight for each asset. Weights must total exactly
100%— use auto-balance to distribute evenly and adjust from there. - Non-oracle assets are capped at
30%each. The picker blocks values above the cap and flags the offending row. - The Blend type — Blue Chip, Degen or Hybrid — is derived automatically from your selection.
Choosing components
Prefer assets with real trading depth. A component with thin liquidity increases slippage on every deposit and redemption for everyone who uses the Blend, not just you.
Step 3 — Review
Review shows the final composition, derived type, the Blend's URL, and the $BLEND burn required to launch. Check the weights one last time — composition is immutable after launch.
Step 4 — Live
On confirmation the Blend contract and its weighted pool are deployed, the Blend appears on Explore, and its page becomes open for deposits from anyone. You begin earning your creator share of swap fees from the first trade.
Creation in this preview is simulated: no contract is deployed, no
$BLEND is burned, and the Blend is not published to any chain.
